Established in 1978 Douglas is a well respected manufacturer of conveyor components including: CEMA class heavy duty pulleys, mine duty pulleys, quarry duty pulleys, engineered class pulleys and pulley lagging, CEMA Class idlers, magnetic separators, magnetic pulleys, impact beds, take-ups and conveyor accessories including the patented Guardian™ Return Roll Guard.
Our engineering department uses the latest technology including computer design and analysis programs to select and design the best components and conveying solutions in our industry.
Research and Development are constant at Douglas. We continually work to improve our existing product lines and develop new products that help advance the interests of our customers. We continuously evaluate our internal processes in order to make them the best in our industry. Many of the ideas that help to make us successful come from our team members but a great deal of these ideas come from our customers.

Aggregate Materials - The aggregate industry includes crushed rock such as limestone, sand, gravel, or crushed concrete for use in construction.
Cement - The cement industry includes cement mills and stationary as well as portable batch plants.
Coal Mining – Above and below ground this includes mines that produce coal for power generation and other uses.
Mining – Includes mining operations extracting mineral deposits such as gold, silver, iron ore, nickel, zinc, copper, lead, and molybdenum just to name a few.
Coal Fired Power Generation – Includes power generating stations that are fueled by coal.
Forest Products – Includes pulp and paper mills and wood yards including lumber and other tree products.
Grain – The Grain industry generally includes grain handling by bucket elevator.
Package and unit handling – Included in this industry are parcel, warehousing and airport baggage handling and automotive application.
Foundry applications –Includes foundries that produce castings and other products for use in automotive and other applications.
Ship Loading – Includes loading bulk materials such as coal and grain into ships for ocean transport.
