Fitter/Welder (4 Positions Available)
Summary
Responsible for fitting and welding of pulleys and/or special products. Extensive use of welding equipment and fitting equipment is required. Must be able to read, understand, and build from engineered prints/drawings. Must currently possess or be able to attain AWS-required welding certification within the first 6 months of employment. This individual is responsible for helping to ensure timely deliveries and delivery of a quality product.
Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Extensive use of welders and machinery associated with the assigned job task.
- Establish good communications and working rapport with supervisors, engineers, and manufacturing personnel to ensure a high level of customer service is delivered.
- Understand Douglas products and the mechanical applications in which they are used.
- Read a tape measure to within 1/16 of an inch and understand engineered drawings.
- Lift 50 pounds.
- Stand continuously for an 8-hour shift with overtime as required by the company.
- Apply verbal and written communication skills to communicate important issues to management and co-workers.
- Continually exhibit the qualities of trustworthiness, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude.
- Manage and organize own work while remaining a team player and handling other assigned tasks as required by the company.
- Perform extra assignments in other areas and related task assignments in the work area.
- Regular, consistent attendance is a requirement. Overtime as required by the company.
CNC Programmer/Operator
Summary
Responsible for programming, operating and maintaining CNC machining equipment. This includes programming, loading and unloading of machines, operating the machines, cleaning and maintaining the machines as directed. Machines included are CNC lathes, CNC mills, and end mills, and other types of equipment required to perform this job. This individual is responsible for helping to ensure timely deliveries and a quality product.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Extensive use of equipment and machinery associated with the assigned job task.
- Establish good communications and working rapport with team members to help ensure a high level of customer service is delivered.
- A high level of attention to detail is essential.
- Write programs in M and G code for the CNC equipment.
- Experience with Fanuc Controls.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
- Ability to read blueprint/drawing, write and edit CNC programs and trouble shoot CNC problems.
- Make program adjustments and alter set-up on CNC equipment.
- Set-up and operate CNC lathes, and mills.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
- Ability to effectively interpret and translate instructions to other employees in a professional and respectful manner.
- Read a tape measurer, micrometer and understand engineered drawings.
- Lift 50 pounds.
- Stand continuously for an 8-hour shift with overtime as required by company.
- Apply verbal and written communication skills to communicate important issues to management and co-workers.

Machine Operator (2 positions available)
Summary
Responsible for operating and maintaining assigned equipment as required. This includes loading and unloading of machines, making minor programming and set-up adjustments as required, cleaning and maintaining the machines. This individual is responsible for helping to ensure timely deliveries and the production of a quality product.

Material Handler (1 Position AVAILABLE)
Summary
Responsible for operating forklifts, stackers, and overhead cranes to move materials within the facility safely and efficiently. This role involves loading and unloading materials, organizing inventory, and supporting production needs. The position requires attention to safety protocols, the ability to occasionally lift items weighing up to 50 lbs and stepping in to relieve other team members as needed. Collaboration with team members is essential to meet production goals and maintain a smooth workflow.
