Regional Sales Manager (Midwest/Northeast)

 

Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead and expand sales efforts in
the Midwest and Northeast regions. This role will focus on driving revenue growth, enhancing customer
relationships, and managing the performance of manufacturer representatives, distributors, OEMs, and
end users. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, a deep
understanding of market dynamics, the ability to lead a team toward achieving ambitious goals and
resides in the territory.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales, or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred. Ideal applicants will bring 5-10 years of proven sales experience in a regional or area management role, ideally within the manufacturing, industrial, or technical products sector, or have an equivalent combination of education and experience. Success in developing and executing sales strategies that foster growth in complex and competitive markets is essential. Strong leadership and team-building skills, especially in managing remote teams and external representatives, are also critical. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities, with a proven record of influencing key decision-makers and closing deals. Proficiency in CRM systems, sales forecasting, and analytics tools to track performance and make data-driven decisions is required, alongside a robust understanding of the Midwest and Northeast markets, including customer behaviors and industry trends. The role requires frequent travel within the assigned territory and occasional travel to other regions or company headquarters, with up to 50% travel expected. Finally, candidates must be adept at working independently and remotely while promoting strong team collaboration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Develop, implement, and monitor regional sales strategies, ensuring alignment with the
    company’s long-term vision and business objectives.
  • Set and manage sales targets and quotas, working closely with manufacturer
    representatives and internal teams to achieve them.
  • Coach and mentor sales teams and representatives, fostering a high-performance
    culture and ensuring continuous professional development.
  • Conduct regular territory performance reviews, providing actionable feedback and
    strategic plans for improvement where necessary.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify growth
    opportunities, mitigate risks, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors,
    OEMs, and end-users, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product development, etc.) to
    develop customer-centric solutions and ensure market needs are met.
  • Manage the regional sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources, and
    adhering to financial and operational standards.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities,
    promoting brand awareness and expanding market presence.

Manual Machinist 

 

Summary

Responsible for operating and maintaining machining equipment as required. This includes loading and unloading of machines, operating the machines, cleaning and maintaining the machines as directed. Machines included are lathes, end mills and other types of equipment required to perform this job. This individual is responsible for helping to ensure timely deliveries and a quality product and helping to ensure a clean, orderly and safe work area.

Procurement and Materials Manager

 

Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Procurement and Materials Manager to oversee our company’s sourcing, inventory and supply chain processes. This role involves managing purchasing activities, establishing supplier relationships, and ensuring that procurement operations are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with company objectives. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of supply chain management, contract negotiations, and strategic sourcing. This position is in person and is located in Pell City, Alabama.

Qualifications

  • Education and Training: A bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field; Master’s degree and/or professional certification is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of previous experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related role is essential.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills are crucial for success in this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Create sound, cost-effective strategies for purchasing materials used in the business.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers while continually scouting for additional vendors.
  • Evaluating spending operations and seeking ways to improve the quality of products purchased and the timeliness of deliveries.
  • Manage inventories and month end inventory process.
  • Use computer programs including but not limited to Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office Programs.
  • To ensure best possible prices are attained and on time deliveries are ensured.

Fitter/Welder (2 PositionS Available)

Summary

Responsible for fitting and welding of pulleys and/or special products. Extensive use of welding equipment and fitting equipment is required. Must be able to read, understand, and build from engineered prints/drawings. Must currently possess or be able to attain AWS-required welding certification within the first 6 months of employment. This individual is responsible for helping to ensure timely deliveries and delivery of a quality product.

    Summary

    Responsible for programming, operating and maintaining CNC machining equipment. This includes programming, loading and unloading of machines, operating the machines, cleaning and maintaining the machines as directed. Machines included are CNC lathes, CNC mills, and end mills, and other types of equipment required to perform this job. This individual is responsible for helping to ensure timely deliveries and a quality product.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Extensive use of equipment and machinery associated with the assigned job task.
    • Establish good communications and working rapport with team members to help ensure a high level of customer service is delivered.
    • A high level of attention to detail is essential.
    • Write programs in M and G code for the CNC equipment.
    • Experience with Fanuc Controls.
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
    • Ability to read blueprint/drawing, write and edit CNC programs and trouble shoot CNC problems.
    • Make program adjustments and alter set-up on CNC equipment.
    • Set-up and operate CNC lathes, and mills.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
    • Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
    • Ability to effectively interpret and translate instructions to other employees in a professional and respectful manner.
